  1. As meditation is a natural and sober process, its hard to say that it would condition you for the affects of a psychoactive drug. I do hear where you are coming from and it does seem plausible that by more or less conditioning your neural pathways it would allow you to "prepare" your mind for this experience.Good luck.

  2. I'm more agnostic, but it would definitely change my attitude toward life, not necessarily automatically make me a Christian, because frankly i despise belonging to a missive group of people, however that doesn't mean i wouldn't believe in God

  3. Meditation is a crack pot excuse for people to use drugs when any GOOD guru knows they are NOT required. Proper meditation involves ALLOWING these higher consciousness experiences to come to you- WITHOUT the use of drugs.

Higher consciousness is more like the state of being, being within the here and now. For example, the understanding that the second that you are in now is the only relevant one and the only one you need to focus on. Everyone is going back and forth and living fifteen minutes into now or starting their workday by staring at the clock waiting for it to end when it has not even begun. Remember this: True consciousness is the awareness of now.

I understand the use of marijuana and I won't say that I am for it or against it, but I will say that if you want to obtain a higher level of awareness you are better without. You have to learn to control your consciousness WITHOUT the use of drugs and that involves various deep meditations and training your mind, your pineal gland, etc.

-Breath deep. Love easy. Speak truth or stay silent,
    Zenny.

  6. Your mind is very powerful. It could make you see and hear something that ain't there.

Besides, even if soul exist, even if there is after life, that doesn't prove that God exist. It just means that there exist another world beyond this world. Ever heard about parallel universe? If it can be proven, I doubt any Atheist would convert to Christianity.
